A Simple Yet Essential Message
In our industry, projects are constantly evolving. Working conditions change, unforeseen situations arise, and many decisions must be made directly on site.
That is why one key message was at the heart of this year's Safety Day:
Recognise the signs. Speak up. Dare to STOP.
Every employee has both the right and the responsibility to stop a situation they believe is unsafe. Safety must always come first, regardless of the circumstances.
Learning from Experience, Acting Together
Through a series of interactive sessions, participants exchanged ideas on risk identification, shared field experiences, and reflected on lessons learned from real-life situations encountered on our projects.
These discussions highlighted a well-known reality in our industry: incidents often occur when conditions change and new decisions need to be made quickly on site. It is precisely in these moments that vigilance, communication, and the courage to intervene become essential.
A Culture Driven by Everyone
The strong involvement of operational teams, supervisors, and management once again demonstrated the importance of Safety Leadership at every level of the organisation.
Creating a safe working environment is not only about procedures and rules. Above all, it relies on behaviours, collective vigilance, and the willingness of every individual to take action when a risk is identified.
