Project Ampsin, Belgium

The Ampsin Lock System

Lock expansion on the river Meuse to allow larger freight vessels to pass through the lock system.

Share on:

As part of the project to upgrade the lock system at Ampsin, we have executed extensive temporary and permanent foundations works to reinforce the existing lock walls during its renovation as well as enlarging the river course by installing two secant pile walls which provide greater manoeuvring space for the intended river traffic.
