The region of Clermont-Ferrand is building 6 collection ponds in order to avoid overflows of untreated water from the sewerage network into natural environments in the case of heavy rains.
The "Bassin des Vergnes" is the first of those ponds.
It's a cylindrical basin of 25 m diameter and 11 m depth, and it has a capacity of 2.200 m³.
