One Year on the Holcim GO4ZERO Project

Franki Foundations is the piling contractor on this site, executing a range of specialized techniques, while BESIX and DENYS serve as the main contractors for the civil works.

A major step towards a sustainable future

This visionary initiative marks a bold step towards sustainability, with a state-of-the-art cement plant designed to decarbonize operations. In its first phase, the project will reduce its CO₂ emissions by at least 30% and will achieve net-zero by 2029 through comprehensive carbon capture and storage.

Advanced Piling Techniques

Franki Foundations is the piling contractor on this site, executing a range of specialized techniques, including Omega piles, driven piles, and pile walls, at depths ranging from 14 to 32 meters. To date, our teams have installed over 1,800 piles, representing more than 30 kilometers in total — a clear demonstration of our technical expertise and capacity to manage complex, large-scale projects.

A Dynamic and Complex Site

Today, the factory site is far from traditional. Multiple trades are working simultaneously — concreting, reinforcement, formwork, and steel structure assembly — all requiring perfect coordination to keep the project moving efficiently.

Navigating between teams can be challenging, and sometimes even dismantling equipment is necessary to pass through!

Safety remains our top priority, even when weekend work or extra hours are needed.
