The project presented several demanding constraints for our teams:
working within a compact excavation pit,
execution of 167 screw piles with grout injection (Ø 760 mm – length 17.5 m),
installation of both vertical and inclined piles (inclination 1/10),
overcoming the challenges of a sandy soil layer thanks to our specialized techniques.
By bringing together technical expertise, precision execution and innovative solutions, Franki Foundations delivered a robust foundation. This solid base will support KU Leuven’s future innovation hub.
This project is a strong example of how close collaboration between stakeholders ensures the success of complex works. Together with CIT Blaton and KU Leuven, Franki Foundations is proud to contribute to the development of a building that will soon become a key landmark in the Arenberg Science Park.
